First time here. Loved everything. We stared with spicy tofu and spinach salad. The 7 year old had the pork burger. Top two items were the vegetables with giant noodles and the hot spicy beef noodles.
This place is located on a main street in a neighborhood. Was able to find parking in front of the restaurant on a Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. As a first-timer, I ordered the spicy sliced beef 5/5 which reminded me of the first time I had this dish at a very well known biang biang restaurant in Xi'an, flavors were spot on and delicious! I also ordered the original Shaanxi style pork burger 3/5. It was a bit bland for me; perhaps I should have gotten the cumin lamb burger, which would have been more authentic. Lastly, the three in one biang biang noodles 5/5! This was recommended by my server and was packed with amazing flavor! Service was great considering the restaurant was completely full. Surprisingly, every dish was very well priced, and portions were generous. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and will be back to try several other dishes!
The server was really nice and helpful! I would say this is the most authentic Chinese noodle dishes and it’s not too spicy and not too sweet’ just at the point. It’s perfectly fits American taste! I had a wonderful experience at here! I would highly recommend!
Really really great food- flavorful and with just the right amount of spiciness that you can taste and feel but that doesn’t overwhelm the dishes. Inside is cozy and intimate and service staff were very friendly. Also, all of it is at a great price for dining out- was able to have two drinks, two appetizers and two entrees for under $75 after tip. Will definitely be coming back!
Super fair prices especially for San Francisco! Had a melody of dishes and all of them were definitely at least above average, most were delicious! The cold noodles and pig’s ears were tasty and I also liked the pork biang noodles. Service was super friendly as well, definitely come and try this hidden gem in the Sunset!
The food here was very good. Value of the food was reasonable, flavourful and decent pricing. Their cumin lamb is seasoned very well, not too salty like other places. The hot and sour wonton was on point, loved the spiciness and then you get a kick of tanginess/sour. The pigs ear was on point, not too chewy and not too tough, the flavour melded pretty well. The beef noodle soup was very good, thin slice of beef shank/flank, the noodles was perfect and the soup made it well. Friendly staff, however, once you receive your food, the staff doesn’t care about you anymore especially when you need to refill of hot water for your tea. Overall, excellent value for the food.
Absolutely delicious, everything was good but make sure you order a dish with noodles. All the noodle dishes my group ordered were all perfectly balanced in flavor, and the texture and bounce of the noodles was amazing. I’ve been thinking about those noodles ever since I had them last night! Hope to go back soon. Service was pretty quick and the ambiance was comfortable.
Family owned great local place with authentic food, quality is amazing. Love the tomato egg noodles, the spicy beef, everything is so good here. Thanks!
